Kingsleys steak & crabhouse

There are a number of theories of the origin of Delmonico steak. The name refers to both a cut of beef & the specialty dish at New York institution, Delmonico's.

Delmonico's was America's first fine dining restaurant, opening in 1837 & is still trading to this day. Delmonico's was considered luxurious due to the availability of Private Dining Room, extensive wine cellar, innovative cuisine, & most importantly, warm, personal service. This tradition has now continued over 170 years. The Delmonico steaks served are aged to perfection in their ageing room.

Kingsleys Delmonico steak is a 500g Dry-Aged Grain-Fed Striploin on the Bone. To allow our guests to enjoy the steak the way they like it, we serve it unadorned.
Choose from a variety of sides from classic steakhouse chips, indulgent potato gratin, vegetables including sauteed garlic mushrooms, or for a lighter option we offer salads. There are also six sauces available to complement your steak, from a classic bearnaise to green peppercorn.

Our sommelier recommends a Shiraz Viognier or Grenache with your Delmonico. As the steak is served on the bone, a wine with a bias towards savoury flavours & spicy aromas is best suited.
